Watching
vampire films made me realise how vampires have developed over the years, in
terms of looks and how they a represented in films. I noticed that in the older
films they are seen as ugly, creepy looking. Easier to spot by their distorted
face it’s less human like and more monster looking. As the years go on vampires
are more sexualised, seen attractive to humans. They look less distorted and
more like humans. Twilight was a dramatic change, the age was younger and the
settings are a lot different. It’s set in an everyday scene. There’s romance
between humans and a vampire.
